Food Dyes
In many foods there are food dyes, or artificial flavoring. Companies use the dyes to make products look more appealing and colorful. Some people claim that they are a cause of cancer. They are also a cause of arthritis, altzheimers, diabetes, stroke, obesity, mental disease, kidney failure, and many, many more. Most of the dyes are banned in the U.S., but a few are allowed. Why, I do not know, but they are not good for our body. Studies have shown that if you have ADHD, food dyes can increase that disease. If you want to try to not eat the dyes, take a look at the labels on the food you are buying.
Here are a list of food dyes you don't want to eat.

There are also dyes that have "FD&C" on the end of a dye's name. They are also bad for you. A lake is a solid, non water soluble form of a dye. It's produced by mixing the dye with Aluminum Hydroxide. By itself Aluminum Hydroxide is a safe food ingredient and it's often sold as an antacid.
